Sara Friedman  has appeared on
NY-Metro1 television, and written on
gluten-free Washington for
celiacchicks.com and
Zondermeer
Magazine
in the Netherlands.

Her work for the celiac community
was featured in
The Journal News,
and
Gluten-Free Living Magazine.
She will be lecturing on gluten-free
travel at Phelps Memorial Hospital in
New York this spring.

She lives in New York and enjoys
playing viola and piano, singing and
creative writing. She was inspired to
write this book  to help the celiac
community that lives in and travels
to the Washington, DC metro area.
She has been gluten-free (due to
celiac disease) for 10 years.

All proceeds from the sale of Sara's
book in previous years have been
donated to The Celiac Disease
Research Center  at The University
of Maryland. This year the center has
moved and so proceeds will be
donated to the same Celiac Disease
Research Center, now at the Mass
General Hospital for Children.
