Maria Ann Roglieri (pictured right) is
Professor of Italian at St. Thomas Aquinas
College in Sparkill, New York.  She is author
of
Dante and Music: Musical Adaptations of
Dante's Commedia
(Ashgate Press, 2001)
and numerous articles on Dante. She holds
a B.A. in Italian literature from Columbia
University, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Italian
literature from Harvard University.
 

She and her daughter, Sara, have been
gluten-free for years. Maria has
gluten-intolerance linked to neuropathy, and
Sara has celiac disease.

Sara Friedman (pictured right) is the author
of
The Gluten-Free Guide to Washington,
D.C.
She  enjoys playing viola and piano,
singing and creative writing. All proceeds
from the sale of this book will go to celiac
charities.
